Who this is for

The Producers is a professional tool for commercial film producers and executive producers. By using the app you're saying you're 18 or older and using it for legitimate production-bidding work.

What we promise

  • Deterministic calculations. The budget engine is a pure function — the same inputs always produce the same AICP / ShootAR output. No random numbers, no model hallucinations on the math.
  • Native market formats. US exports as AICP HotBudget; AR as ShootAR.CobroAR. We won't normalize one format into the other.
  • Your data is isolated by default. We don't sell it, we don't train on it, and no other producer — competitor or otherwise — can see your projects, rates, uploaded scripts, bid letters, or budget numbers. Every database read and write is scoped to your account at the Postgres layer (Row-Level Security). Cross-tenant access attempts are treated as critical incidents.
  • Best-effort uptime. We aim for steady service but can't guarantee zero downtime. See "Limits" below.

What you agree to

  • Treat the generated budgets as drafts that YOU sign off on. Every number is a starting point — the final bid you send the agency is your responsibility, not ours.
  • Only upload scripts, briefs, or decks you have the right to share. Don't upload material you're under NDA not to process externally.
  • Don't use the app to harass, impersonate, defame, or do anything illegal. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the LLM endpoints.
  • Don't try to access another producer's data. Each account is isolated at the database layer; attempting to bypass that isolation — by account sharing, API misuse, prompt injection, scraping, social engineering, or any other technique — is grounds for immediate termination and may be reported to law enforcement and pursued as civil liability.
  • Your login is personal. Don't share credentials; create separate accounts if teammates need access (multi-seat coming).

Paid plans

If you're on a paid plan, billing terms live in the checkout you agreed to at signup. Cancel at any time via your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't do prorated refunds.

Limits on our liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the app — including lost bids, lost production opportunities, or decisions made based on its outputs. Our total liability is capped at whatever you paid us in the three months before the claim.

The service is provided "as is". We make no warranty that every calculation will perfectly match every possible budget format, every union minimum, or every client's internal approval process. That's why it's a tool, not a rubber stamp.

Termination

You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy page). We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — ideally with notice so you can export your data first.

Changes

If we change these terms in a material way we'll update the date at the top and, for account holders, notify you in-app before the change takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
